The Open Call funds companies with innovative and impactful solutions to fully integrate into the AIoD Platform, its Marketplace, and Business Navigator. The goal is to drive platform adoption, develop real-world use cases, serve as beta-testers, and accelerate the adoption of trustworthy, ethical, and transparent AI in Europe.
The programme runs in three consecutive stages. Stage 1 selects up to 50 AI Providers to pitch and refine their business plans, give initial feeback on the platform and pitch their solutions at an industry event. Stage 2 narrows to 20 applicants for full platform integration, including mentor guidance, beta-testing and the submission of a project to deploy their solution. Stage 3 selects 10 consortia for real-world deployment, culminating in a final Demo-Day.
AI Providers can receive up to €60,000 in total: €5,000 at Stage 1, €35,000 at Stage 2, and €20,000 at Stage 3. AI Adopters, who join at Stage 3, can receive up to €15,000.
AI Products must be at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 7 or above. Applicants must demonstrate that their AI Product is delivered in a containerised format (e.g., Docker or equivalent) to ensure portability, scalability, and smooth integration within the AIoD Platform infrastructure. See Section 3.6 of Guide for Applicants for details.
